Changing the battery on my HP gaming laptop is not super easy. That's why I kept putting off buying a new battery. Also knowing which exact battery to buy was a concern. But the numbers matched and everything went together smoothly. My 5 year old laptop is like new again! Good instructions on battery settings and life. The only difficulty installing it was figuring out how to open the My HP Pavillion laptop, which has hidden screws on the bottom of the case. If you are having difficulty, tear off the rubber bumper on the bottom. The screws are hidden under the strips.
